TiddlyDesktop is a special purpose web browser for working with locally stored TiddlyWikis. See http://tiddlywiki.com/ for more details of TiddlyWiki. It is based on node-webkit, a project created and developed in the Intel Open Source Technology Center: https://github.com/rogerwang/node-webkit.

What’s new in version 0.0.2

Version 0.0.2:
  • The saving mechanism is now TiddlyFox compatible, so TiddlyWiki5 wikis don't need a special plugin to work with TiddlyDesktop
  • TiddlyDesktop is now compatible with TiddlyWiki Classic
  • Chromium Developer Tools now accessible via a pulldown menu
  • Each TiddlyWiki document is now sandboxed, so it isn't possible for malicious or buggy JavaScript to affect other documents
  • Linux 32-bit and 64-bit builds

TiddlyDesktop seems to work on my 10.6 system when working with TiddlyWiki5, but not with my older "classic" TiddlyWikies; which it seems to continuously reload. I hope it will continue to work on 10.6; I look forward to seeing this develop. This will help those who don't use Firefox & TiddlyFox with the saving problem.
